The worst holidays of my life by Sofiane Nait-Yahia

Hi guys! How's life?

I spent 4 days in New York last week but it was the worst holidays in my life!

I chose the Jazz on the Lenox hotel because it was the cheapest and the receptionist was very polite when I called.

On the first day, when I entered the room, I was disappointed because the sheets were very dirty and at night it was too noisy to sleep!!!

On the second day I ordered breakfast but it was expensive and there wasn't enough to eat. I went to the kitchen to cook something. Then, I found that the microwave was broken. I asked the staff to repair it but they did nothing and at night electicity disappeared suddenly so I couldn't watch television.

On the third day I put the coins in the vending machine to buy a coke. Neither a coke nor the coin came out!!!

On the last day, in the morning, the hot water stopped so I couldn't take a shower. At check out time, the cashier made me pay more than I expected though it was written "bagain price" on their website !!!

I don't recommend this hotel, it's terrible !!! It's the worst hotel in my life !!! I'll never go back there!!!

Take care. See you guys!

The Harlem YMCA hotel by Stefan Francis.

Hi everybody!
I'm going to tell you about my trip to the USA and my stay at the YMCA hotel.
First I want to say thank you for the warm welcome that the staff of the hotel gave me.

Monday:

When I arrived at 6.22pm I discovered the hotel. The facade of the hotel looks like the old school from the 90s.
I talked to the receptionist, he was polite and he gave me the key. The rooms was called "ice bear" because the walls were white, the sheets were white and even the roses were white too.
Because there is a 12 hours time difference between France and the USA I went directly to bed to sleep all night.

Tuesday:

I got up early because I wanted to try the spa of the hotel. I read on the net: "the best spa of Harlem". There, I saw the biggest and the largest swimming pool of my life and in my life I've seen some big swimming pools!
The water was hot and the swimming pool was empty, so nice. I think I will stay there all day to enjoy the Turkish bath (or hammam) and the sauna.

Wednesday:

I was so tired! I stayed in bed for 2 hours and looked at all the details of my private room.I saw how beautiful it was.The staff told me: "it's the biggest room of the hotel and the most confortable too" but I think that it's also a room which costs a lot of money for my wallet (lol).
For this room you have to be the most patient man in the world because I have waited for 3 months to book this room, but it's so beautiful!

Thursday:

It was not the best day of my life. I was stuck for 3 hours in the lift because it broke down when I was inside!!!
The staff helped me but... they also gave me a special price (commercial gesture) for this week.
After this problem I went to the city with my friends (I visited Harlem all day).
The weather was the coldest of my trip (4°C in the morning).

Friday:

I wanted to have some information about this hotel because I want to come here again. I was surprised because pets are allowed and the proprietor of the hotel was French. They told me that there was the greatest restaurant in Harlem which is in the south part of the hotel.
I went to this restaurant, I ate a rib of beef. It was served in 5 minutes and the meat was very god. I can say that it's the fattest and the best meat I've ever eaten.

Saturday:

It's time for me to leave the USA and to pay... ($1400 for 5 days). For me, the price is not too expensive for those services.

My best holidays ever at the Chelsea Star Hotel by Tentis Nicolae

Hi guys ! How are you ? Me, I'm fine.

I am in the cheapest hotel of New York; the Chelsea Star Hotel. It is very nice and it's the biggest hotel I've ever seen.
It's great and the staff is very nice and also the receptionist was very nice when we booked the room.
This is the first day of my stay here and I am very happy because the room is very big and my bed is the most comfortable bed in the world. There is a plasma TV in my room and also a fridge, a microwave in the kitchen and air conditioning in my parents' room.

The second day.

Hi! Here I am for the second day of my stay here. Today I have been swimming with my family all day long and we played volleyball in the swimming pool.
I have met 2 new friends, John and Melanie and together we had a lot of fun.

The third day of my stay here.

Today I have visited all the museums and the historic monuments with my new friends. Then, we went to the cinema and we saw the best action film ever. It was called "Transporter 3".

The fourth day of my stay here.

I went to the Statue of Liberty with my parents and with my friends.
At the end of the day we went back to the hotel and we got prepared for our return to Paris.

This holiday was wonderful because the hotel was the best hotel in the world, the staff and the receptionist were really sweet and the hotel was quiet and very clean.

The holiday was also wonderful because I've met new friends and we had much fun together.

Now it's time for me to go.
See you in Paris!
Bye bye !!!
